VEGAS III

We tend to visit Las Vegas now on an annual or biannual basis. It always sounds like a good idea: a quick weekend getaway to enjoy the sun/pool, cut loose with some beverages, and see a good show. A birthday is usually a good excuse to go. This visit to Vegas was more of the same, except we were hit harder by the jet lag and less impressed by the usual chaos. You can read about our prior visits and recommendations HERE and HERE

Adventures: Secret Pizza, Champagne Brunch, The Mirage Pool, Opium, Yoga with the Dolphins, The Strip

Takeaways:
1) When repeat visiting a location, it's important to plan different experiences.
2) Jet lag + unlimited champagne + seafood is not a good combination.
3) Plan the unlimited champagne brunch and the fancy dinner/evening show on separate days.
4) We need to change things up next year.

Recommendations:
1) Maybe try a different hotel for your third visit to Las Vegas.
2) Buy booze and snacks at Walgreens or CVS.
3) Tip your server at the buffet, especially when unlimited alcoholic beverages are involved.
