LOCH NESS AND THE HIGHLANDS

We were scheduled to be in Edinburgh for only three days but couldn't pass up the opportunity to visit the famous Loch Ness and Scottish Highlands while in the country. To make the best use of our time and avoid the stress of a car rental, we booked Rabbie's Loch Ness, Glencoe and the Highlands Tour, which is advertised as "the best way to see Scotland in a day".

Adventures: Callander, Rannoch Moor, Three Sisters in Glencoe, Inverlochy Castle, Fort Augustus, Loch Ness boat cruise

Takeaways:
1) This was a long day.
2) The Scottish landscape is magnificent.
3) We should have brought warmer clothes for the Loch Ness cruise.
4) We did not see Nessie or any Scottish Highland cows, aka hairy coos.

Food Stop Pick:
Mhor Bread and Tearoom (try the meat pies)
8 Main Street, Callander

Recommendations:
1) Bring snacks or pick up some food during the stop in Callander.
2) Pack waterproof clothing and something warm to wear during the cruise.

Next Time:
We'll stay a few nights in the highlands and visit the Isle of Skye.
